- First ever a couple was present on the same season although the couple went on seperate teams (Hon Sang & Jo Ann)
- This seasons holds the longest mandatory rest period due to a problem emerge in the internal security. The rest period was almost an hour
- This seasons consist of the most team reaarangement
i) Aziemah left early due to personal reasons
ii) After elimination of Hong Sang & Eng Khim and Yew Han & Ryan, Yew Han became Matthew's partner while Hon Sang took over Aziemah's spot
iii) Hong Sang and Yew Han quitted right before the finale, leaving team Matthew and team Alan, solo
- Almost half the race was held outside of the Summit Shopping Mall
- 2 pit stops was not located in the Summit Shopping Mall area. Instead the finishing mat was placed at Segi College and Summit Hotel.
- This is the first ever venue not favour by any of the teams, giving no team in venue experience advantage
- This is the first season contestant Eng Khim did not obtain a spot in the final 3
- Contestant Yew Han was the first to be eliminated from the entire race twice. First was in season 1.
