FIRST LEG
Amazing Race Teen Edition Season VI was held in the Summit Shopping Mall. All 5 teams were given their first clue at the starting point, McDonalds and was told to head to ToyCity. All teams burst off to different directions as none had any clue on the location of ToyCity. All girls team Sheng Ling and Jo Ann took the lead as they are first to reach ToyCity and was later directed to the Magikland. Behind them was a trail of teams. Solo team Matthew was second, followed by the Double A's team Alan & Aziemah and then the more athletic team, Hon Sang & Eng Khim. Meanwhile team Ryan & Yew Han were not that far behind.
At the Magikland, teams uncover a detour. Detour is a choice between two task. In this detour teams have to choose between 'Pay Up' or "Loose Down'. All teams opt for 'Pay Up', a task where teams are required to buy an object of exact RM1. All teams found this task no problem and leaderboard was even up when all teams are then directed to find San Francisco Steakhouse. Meanwhile, Ryan & Yew Han continued to be the last of the pack. Team Sheng Ling & Jo Ann continued to emerge as the lead when they took the clue at San Francisco Steakhouse first and immediately head to the pit stop at the Golden Screen Cinema. Sheng Ling & Jo Ann was about to claim victory when behind them emerge Matthew. Succesfully, Matthew outrun the all girls team and claim first place while Sheng Ling & Jo Ann took second. The Double A's emerge as third and 4th was won by Hon Sang & Eng Khim. Ryan & Yew Han who started out rocky was the first to be eliminated from TARTE S6.
SECOND LEG
After a mandatory rest period, Matthew was the first to take his clue for he is the first in the previous leg. The clue directed him to Reject Shop but unfortunately, during the search of the shop, the other 3 teams caught up with Matthew and the game was once again even up. After each team all receive their clues at roughly the same time, they found out the clue to be a riddle, "Green lady in Black Sea'. Not knowingly was does the clues meant, all teams began working together and eventually head to Starbucks. As soon as all teams receives their clue at Starbucks, all teams split off to find a boutique called C.Y.C. Team Double A's was first to find C.Y.C and quickly head to Popular bookstore. Behind them were Sheng Ling & Jo Ann, Matthew and at the bottom of the pack, Eng Khim & Hon Sang. Alan & Aziemah obtained their clue at Popular bookstore at ease. To their excitment, they found out the next pit stop was in an arcade without a name. This leave team Alan & Aziemah a little puzzle and this allows the game to be once again, even up.
Fortunately, team Alan & Aziemah managed to retain their lead and took first place. Matthew who was litterally not far behind them became a close second. Team Sheng Ling & Jo Ann was third while Hon Sang & Eng Khim were in last place. Fortunartely for them, this was a pre-determine non-elimination leg and Hon Sang & Eng Khim was spare off from elimination but obtain a 3 minutes penalty if they don't reach the next pit stop 1st.
THIRD LEG
The Double A's recieve their first clue to the 3rd leg first and without a minute to waste, they head Guardian. There they encounter a roadblock. Roadblock is a task where only one member of the team can perform. In this roadblock, one member from each team have to count the amount of beans in a bottle without releasing it's content. Alan faced problem in counting the beans and this eventually allows the rest of the teams to catch up. However, being first to the roadblock gave the Double A's an advantage. They were the first to finish the task and receive a clue with another riddle, "Good + est". Not knowing the clue was trying to define 'Best', the Double A's once again lose their lead. After completing the roadblock, Sheng Ling & Jo Ann stole the lead when they are the first to receive their clue at Best. Matthew push Alan & Aziemah to third as he was second to obtain the clue at Best
From there, teams are directed to find the largest 'M' in Summit. Believing it is in the McDonald restaurant, Matthew waste no time and head there. Unfortunately, his was wrong as the largest 'M' refers to the big McDonald post outside Summit Shopping Mall as a stand out advertisment. Sheng Ling & Jo Ann was the first to receive their clue at the post and was seen by Alan & Aziemah who had found their clue at Best.
The clue then directed the teams to Segi College, the pit stop of this leg. The Double A's quickly outrun the all girls team and was confident that they will claim first once again. Unfortunately, they head to the wrong direction and team Sheng Ling & Jo Ann took first. Alan & Aziemah became second while Matthew who later realise his mistake became third. Meanwhile, team Eng Khim & Hon Sang who already demotivated by being so far behind the pack were last and was eliminated from the race.
Who will win and be crown THE AMAZING RACE TEEN EDITION SEASON 6? Will the all girls team Sheng Ling & Jo Ann who started out strong at the start of the race mantain their position? Would the Double A's, Alan & Aziemah once again outwit and outplay the other two teams? Or could it be solo player Matthew who tend to pop into the lead out of suprise wins the title?
FINAL LEG
After a mandatory rest, Sheng Ling & Jo Ann who was the first to depart from the previous pit stop was the first to obtain their first clue to the final leg. With a clear note, teams have to head to Ace Hardware to obtain their next clue. The girls continues to take the lead as the other two teams trailing behind them. At Ace, team Sheng Ling & Jo Ann encounter a detour, a task where only one member can perform. In this detour, teams have to choose between 'Feline' or 'Canine'. In 'Feline', teams have to find a miniature drawing of a cat out side of the Summit Shopping Mall and bring it to Mr. Teppanyaki to obtain their next clue. In 'Canine' teams have to head to Mr. Teppanyaki and list down 10 breeds of dogs. Once they got all ten, they will receive their next clue.
The girls picked 'Feline' and eventually so did the other two teams. The search for the picture proves a slight difficult as all team could not locate Point B! external entrance which is where the picture is placed. Matthew was the first to obtain the picture there but was easily spotted by Alan & Aziemah and later Sheng Ling & Jo Ann. Sheng Ling & Jo Ann who were less athletic team compared to the other 2 teams was outrun and left behind as the other 2 team raced to Mr. Teppanyaki to claim a lead. Is there, they receive a news to head to Eastview. Not knowing what is Eastview, Matthew and Alan & Aziemah were forced to pause their journey and figure it out allowing team Sheng Ling & Jo Ann to catch up. After a time of strategic thinking, all teams eventually figured out the location of Eastview. Alan & Aziemah reached there first followed by Matthew and eventually Sheng Ling & Jo Ann. From there, they learn they have to find their next clue located somewhere around the performances stage at the heart of Summit Shopping Mall.
All teams are even up when they could not locate the next clue but it didn't take long for Alan & Aziemah to spot the clue located on the stairs to the 1st floor behind the stage rather at the ground floor itself. From there Alan & Aziemah zipped of to Creepy Creature, a hidden pet store famous for it's odd kinds of pets including hedgehogs, tarantula and skunk. Alan & Aziemah faced a slight problem with finding the pet store and this allowed Matthew to catch up. From there they both located Creepy Creature and there they head to the nearest Point B! entrance which is not far away. At Point B! they discover a roadblock. Roadblock is a task where only one member can perform. In this roadblock one member are given a list of items. They then have to check the prices of each item found in Point B! and add them up. Once they get the right total, they will be given their next clue.
Alan and Matthew took up the task. Both team faced difficulties finding the exact item, specifically baby shoes. Sheng Ling & Jo Ann eventually caught up and Jo Ann took up the roadblock. After some time of scavanging the right item, once again Alan beat the rest by completing the task first. He then obtain a jumbled letter clue that supposed to lead the teams to Sushi King. The Double A's completed the jumbled letter easily and before they left to Sushi King, they gave Matthew a hint on the roadblock. Matthew then decided to stop scavanging and started trying random numbers using Alan's hint as a guide. After a few attempts, he finished the task and quickly head to Sushi King in hope he can outrun the Double A's. Alan & Aziemah located Sushi King quickly and receive their final clue there. It was there teams were told that final pitstop it at the entrance of Summit Hotel. On the way to the hotel, the Double A's took a wrong detour and was lost. Matthew meanwhile, quickly grabbed his clue at Sushi King and was ready to sprint of to the pitstop. Unfortunately for him, Alan & Aziemah figured out their mistake and was the first to check into the final pitstop and wins The Amazing Race Teen Edition Season 6.
Matthew came in second about 5 minutes later while Sheng Ling & Jo Ann were in third.
